Gresley Old Hall is a grade ll listed building located in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. It is believed to have been built in the 1550’s by Sir Christopher Alleyn. The stone used to build Gresley old hall were originally the Gresley priory, which stood on the site but was demolished. Today Gresley Old Halls main building is only used for paranormal investigations, but the extensions attached to it are used for various events including the minors social club.

 

Join us in exploring the 1st floor, second floor and the attic of this derelict Tudor building, where we will go through and carry out vigils to see if we can uncover the secrets that reside within the walls of Gresley Old Hall!

Event information

  • Please arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the event starts.
  • All guests must be over the age of 18 to attend.
  • Guests must wear suitable footwear and clothing, areas of the building has no heating and gets very cold.
  • All guests must bring their own torch.
  • We do not hold any responsibility for any damage caused to personal equipment brought by guests.
  • Not Suitable for pregnant guests.
  • We do not play tricks or fake any activity, anything that you experience is authentic.

Accessibility: 

Gresley Old Hall is not suitable for wheelchair users. There are steep stairs within the building so if you have limited mobility it may not be suitable.
